How quickly we respond
Every request is logged and prioritised by its impact on your practice. These are guaranteed response times, meaning a technician is working on it, not a promise that every fix is finished in that time.
| Critical: practice can’t operate | Response within 4 hours. Examples: a server or network is down, the whole office can’t use a key application, data is being lost, or a suspected security breach. Call us; if no one can answer, leave a message on the auto attendant. |
| Non-critical: a person or small group affected | Response within 24 hours. Examples: one computer or printer, intermittent errors, or a problem with a simple workaround. |
| New installs, updates and planned work | Scheduled with you. No guaranteed response time. |
Office hours and 24/7 cover
Our office team works Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Outside those hours, our after-hours service and our security operations centre (SOC) and network operations centre (NOC) provide 24/7 monitoring and response for Full Managed and Remote Managed clients.
| Staffed support | Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Closed on public holidays. |
| 24/7 monitoring | Security operations centre (SOC) and network operations centre (NOC) monitoring around the clock, plus automated alerting |
| 24/7 response | After-hours service for urgent issues, nights, weekends and public holidays |
| After-hours details | Response targets and any charges for after-hours work are set out in each client’s service agreement |
| New equipment installs | Flat $225 ex GST per device (computer, laptop, printer, switch, router, wireless access point, phone or tablet), during business hours |
Your IT Champion: one point of contact in your office
We ask you to nominate a Primary and a Secondary IT Contact. Your primary contact, the IT Champion, coordinates requests with us, helps us verify unusual requests and is our contact during an incident.
- Your IT Champion doesn’t need technical skills
- Your principal, owner or director decides what they can approve
- We check that authority before acting on sensitive requests, such as a password reset for a partner
What isn’t covered
- Microsoft 365 licences, new hardware, internet services and third-party licences
- Projects such as server migrations, major network upgrades and office moves (quoted separately)
- Phone systems other than 3CX
- Photocopiers, multifunction printers, fax and security systems
- Mobile devices older than five years or no longer supported by the manufacturer
- Equipment added after the agreement starts, until it is installed and added to your plan
Contract terms, in plain English
| Initial term | 12 months |
| Renewal | Renews for 12 months at a time unless either party gives 30 days’ written notice |

| Leaving early | Fees for the remaining months of the current term are payable |

Your first 90 days with Curity
- Handover and discovery. We confirm scope, gather access and document your sites, network, Microsoft 365, devices, software vendors, backups and phones.
- Secure the basics. We install our management and security tools on every device, check MFA and administrator access and identify unsupported devices.
- Risk register. We tell you plainly about inherited problems: what can wait, what needs a plan and what needs fixing first.
- First review. We walk you through what we found, what we fixed and what we recommend next.

Questions about managed IT
How much does managed IT cost for a 20-person office in Townsville?
With Curity, a 20-person practice on Remote Managed is 20 × $79 = $1,580 per month ex GST, or on Full Managed 20 × $99 = $1,980 per month ex GST, covering up to 30 devices. Microsoft 365 licences, hardware and projects are extra.
What is the difference between Full Managed and Remote Managed?
Both include monitoring, patching, backups, Microsoft 365 management, cybersecurity tools and remote support. Full Managed adds onsite support in Townsville, IT consulting, compliance and auditing, disaster recovery planning and work mobile phone support.
Is there a lock-in contract?
The initial term is 12 months, then it renews for 12 months at a time unless either party gives 30 days’ written notice. If you leave early, fees for the remaining months of the current term are payable.
What are your response times?
Critical issues that stop your practice working get a response within 4 hours. Non-critical issues get a response within 24 hours. New installs and planned work are scheduled with you.
Is support 24/7?
Yes, for Full Managed and Remote Managed clients. Our office team works Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Outside those hours, our after-hours service handles urgent issues, and our security operations centre (SOC) and network operations centre (NOC) monitor your systems 24/7 so threats and outages are picked up and acted on at any hour.
Do you have a security operations centre (SOC)?
Yes. Curity has access to a 24/7 security operations centre that reviews security alerts from our endpoint detection and response and Microsoft 365 monitoring tools and escalates genuine threats, alongside a network operations centre that watches for outages.
Can you work alongside our internal IT person?
Yes. Our Co-Managed plan is designed for organisations with their own IT staff who want Curity’s tools, security services and escalation support.
